[California] Stepping Down as Board Rep

Hi All,

Landon, thanks for all your past effort to keep us in touch with the
mothership!

I'm happy to take on this role based on the 'job description' Alex
provided. I'm in pretty regular touch with several of the board
members these days as I'm helping to manage the new Marketing/Website
project. That said, I am a) in SoCal and b) not an academic, but would
certainly be willing to help out here. The thought out disbanding our
chapter is not one I want to consider.

Also, definitely want to organize an OSGeo social at CalGIS. My
company Terranodo is happy to sponsor a happy hour, we just need to
pick a place and time.
