Neither Instructors who make submissions for Workshops/Labs
nor Workshop Committee members should have to deal with
"two versions" of submissions.

If the website-based system is "getting in the way", scrap it
and use something else. You can use a combination of submissions
via email and Google Docs as was used for FOSS4G2007 if necessary.

Don't put obstacles in the way of Instructors. You can
have them email their submissions, and get a FOSS4G2008
volunteer to do the 'grunt work' of copying the submissions
into whatever format is required by the website.
