[Workshops] OSGeo-Live USB drives and VM archive

Hi,

Will the workshop attendees have access to USB flash drives with OSGeo-Live
8.0 [0]? If so, when/how are the drives distributed?

Also, does such a drive have the VM archive on it? If so, is it the .vmdk
file or the compressed .7z archive?

My workshop hinges upon the BYOD attendees working with the VM; and, I
dread that many have not had the opportunity (or desire) to download the VM
archive (~3 GB).
