[OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G2008 domain registration

Hi all

 

We need a domain ready to use for FOSS4G2008 so I can announce it at
FOSS4G2007. We are developing a site with the basics so at least we have
a web presence and can start to register interest. 

 

Has any decision been reached to go ahead with using www.foss4g.org
<http://www.foss4g.org/>  with the conditions from the Japan GRASS
crowd?

 

Or do we go ahead and secure www.foss4g2008.org
<http://www.foss4g2008.org/> ? If so, will OSGeo do this in the next few
days or must the LOC do it. I think it is an OSGeo responsibility.
