As 2009 has not set a budget yet, this is something that is open to be
influenced.

Thinking purely pragmatically, would a discount for speakers increase
the number of speakers or quality of speakers? For international
speakers, I don't think so. And I suspect that only one or 2 local
speakers would be influenced by price.

That means, is it good karma to have regular attendees pay a little
more to provide a financial acknowledgment to speakers? I'm undecided.
