Gao,
you probably followed some of the discussions on the conference list of
OSGeo. I hope it is not too confusing or disconcerting to see so many
different discussions and options going on.

No matter what - we will help make the FOSS4G conference in Beijing a
great success. To achieve that we have to start working now - we are
already somewhat late in schedule. I can understand if you need some
more time to finalize the formalities required for a detailed budget
plan and so on but we should start to do some things alongside.

One very first thing that we should do as soon as possible is set up a
landing place for the FOSS4G Beijing website at:
http://2012.foss4g.org

Then you should create the identity of the conference and logos [1]. You
can check out how the last team created the logo [2] to get some ideas.
There is also a tradition to reference the OSGeo ribbon [3] in the new
logo.

The sooner we do this the more people might simpy swap the old logo for
the new one and point to the new web link. This will preserve the
existing web space on friendly sites used for FOSS4G. There are hundreds
of web sites out there still depicting the FOSS4G 2011 logo. Ideally the
logos have a exactly the same sizes making it easy to exchange.

Feel free to ask this list for anything else you need to get going.

Best regards,
Arnulf.
