Hello to Gao Ang and the Beijing team.
I just wanted to follow up on Arnulf's note and encourage you to get a
simple web page up with basic information (at least dates) as soon as
possible. I have been asked about dates also, people are interested in
planning already!
If there is anything I can do to help point you in the right direction
please let me know. I think it's important to get a logo shortly - we used
the site crowdspring.com and were pleased with the results (but obviously
whatever approach you prefer is fine). As a high level reference, the
timeline we worked to is at http://2011.foss4g.org/content/timeline (and
this hasn't changed much from year to year).
Cheers,
Peter.
