Ouch!

Under the circumstances I suppose I will tender my resignation
from the committee though I'll make two points as an aside.

1) You don't really need to remove someone to add someone.  A
    big committee isn't such a bad thing.

2) Skipping one vote is a pretty hard criteria for removal.
