Hi Franz-Josef,

Thanks for the update. Hope you have a successful FOSS4G Southeast Asia event and establish a strong OSGeo Malaysia chapter. This will accelerate the formation of OSGeo events and chapters in other countries in the region.

Best wishes,

Suchith

Dear all,

just let me point to the preparation of FOSS4G Southeast Asia (http://foss4g-sea.org/) which will be held in conjunction with AGSE 2012 (http://www.applied-geoinformatics.org/).

In any case we will try to organize a succesful event strenghtening the impact of Open Source Geospatial Technologies in Southeast Asia and the empowering of colleagues there.

For the colleagues in Vietnam and other neigbouring countries: Please take FOSS4G SEA into consideration to establish a sustainable event.

Best regards

With kindest regards

Franz-Josef
