[OSGeo-Conf] Stage 1 Voting results

+1 . It will be great if Lima team can build up this as a FOSS4G-South America event. We now have FOSS4G regional events established in North America, Asia and Europe.

I really hope from next year, we will have regional events around the world and having South America and Africa starting regional events will be great to accelerate OSGeo around the world.

Maybe OSGeo Board and Conference Commitee can give some direction to Lima team on this?

FOSS4G Lima team,

While you have not been selected for the international FOSS4G event,
please don't be discouraged. I suggest you (and the rest of South and
Central America) consider running an annual South/Central America
FOSS4G, similar to the very successful FOSS4G-North America and
FOSS4G-Europe, which run in parallel with the International FOSS4G.

It could rotate between South/Central American cities.

I think there is a great opportunity to make this happen.
