Dear Conference Committee!

As Eli mentioned in his last message - our conference committee is not
very active in the moment and at least and part of it also goes back to me.

Anyway, I was already thinking about resigning for some weeks. An active
and healthy conference committee is important and I know, that I won't
be the person to move CC forward again. Times are changing and after
being an active member of our community for many years, I see that other
interests and tasks are coming more and more to the foreground [1].

As a former chair of the committee, I know how time-consuming it is to
chase after members who do not respond or react ... so I think it is
better to step back and make room for others.

Writing this, I must say: It has been a pleasure to work together with
you all the past years! Also, I really appreciated having the honour to
chair this committee for some years after the Bonn-conference.

I'd appreciate staying on this list (and will moderate the vote for
Oceania, if needed & wanted), but I resign from being an active member
of the conference committee.

I already moved my name in the WIKI to the "past members" section.

See you!

Till
