Dear Vasile,

Thanks for leading this. I'd like to share my thoughts on this matter.

1. It would be beneficial to officially announce that the 'Motion to Add the FOSS4G 2023 Chair to the Conference Committee' has passed (https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/conference_dev/2023-September/006016.html). This will help us confirm the number of official voting members in the conference committee.

2. I'm not fully convinced why CC should give a higher preference to North America region in case of a tie. North America has passed on opportunities in 2023 and 2024. My suggestion is to solicit candidate cities from both Other Regions and North America, providing them with equal consideration.
