[OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G2027 bid process stage two: questions time

Thank you for reading our bid document and inspecting the budget sheet.

I would like to address some of the questions in this email.

The day rate includes drinks throughout the day [eg tea/coffee/juice/water]
and lunch. I will check with our catering partner in regards to breakfast
[eg sandwiches]. I am sure this can be arranged but will probably affect
the budget.

We were given a quote from a local AV Company Bluestone
<https://bluestoneaudio.co.uk/> for £5.326 [incl tax]. We will obviously
like to run a test in regards to the hybrid capacity with Bluestone prior
to the conference hence we put the budget item at £10.000.

We didn't list T-Shirts in the budget since we want to make these an
optional extra. For FOSS4G we were able to print shirts for about £10 each.

We will need to add the budget for the icebreaker, b2b, and geochicas event
to the budget sheet.

The gala dinner is a ticketed event. I guess the question is how we budget
items that are individually priced but are included in the registration for
sponsors, volunteers, and travel grant recipients.

We are happy to provide a maximum of 100 student tickets at a loss and add
late tickets at an increased price to cover the difference.

What is the process for us updating the budget sheet? Would you prefer
viewing access to the google document? Or should we attach an export of the
document once we updated the tickets prices and social events.

We would welcome a move to use a github repo which would allow us to modify
already uploaded files.

Best,
Dennis
