[OSGeo-Discuss] project tracker question

Good deal. As for your question about enhancements, it completely
depends on (a) the amount of enhancement activity in the project and (b)
the level of granularity wanted in managing the enhancement process. If
the project has pushed ownership down to the component level, or plans a
roadmap at the component level, then I think its appropriate to have
that field in the artifact.
I'm a fan of some process around the enhancement program for an open
source project, largely to get some visibility and dialog going around
possible directions for the software. If this is something you feel
mapguide could benefit from, just let Bob Bray know and we'll work with
him to beef up that artifact/process a bit.
Cheers,
Andrew

Andrew,
you are correct. I was already on the advanced query tab but I
didn't refine the choice to just defects or just enhancements.
I see now that enhancements don't identify a component ... I hadn't
realized that (do you think that enhancements should be targeted at
specific components/sub-components?)
I'm not sure that a change is necessary now that I understand how the
system works. Thanks for the rapid response.
Cheers
