Thanks Frank.  

It came back to life about 15 minutes after I posted.  Sometimes a
message to the list seems to be all that is needed to get an application
working again (in time to embarrass the poster...)

It seems to be working for me.  Perhaps this was a temporary problem.
You can file tickets for the OSGeo System Administration Committee in
the OSGeo Trac instance at:

  http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo

However, that might not work if trac is broken. :-)

You may also be able to find someone able to look into
issues most quickly by asking in #osgeo or #telascience.
