[OSGeo-Discuss] 5 Star OSGeo project maturity rating

OSGeo has a mandate to support open source spatial; one of the ways it does so is by helping projects go through an incubation process (resulting a nice logo and some assurance that the project is in fact open source and spatial).

The live dvd is another part of promoting open source spatial.
