[OSGeo-Discuss] gdal_merge.py and transparent tiff's

To get rid of the black, set the nodata_value on the command line:

gdal_merge.py -n 0 -o result.tiff -co COMPRESS=LZW -co TILED=YES 200k--n57-21_ozf-crop.tiff 200k--n57-22_ozf-crop.tiff
