short summary report from yesterdays IRC board meeting:

Topics:

1) Face-to-Face Board meeting
We've agreed, that it will be difficult to organize physical face to
face meeting of board members at current time and that we go on with the
virtual one. It should happen within next month, the date will be fixed
using doodle pool (to be prepared).

2) Annual Global Meeting
It was agreed, that next OSGeo Annual Global Meeting will be organized
during FOSS4G, Nottingham, September. It will be organized together with
LOC of FOSS4G.

3) Status of FOSS4G-CEE 2013
The organization team in Bucharest is reporting, things are moving
slowly towards the local conference. Should be organized during spring
2013. For the year 2014, still FOSS4G-E (for Europe) is the plan.

4) MoU with universities
There seems to be big movement after last announcements. Several
universities are asking (Kathmandu, Melbourne, Kentucky, Warsaw and
Mexico) asked how to establish "open source geospatial labs".
