Hi Bart,

Thanks for bringing this to the Discuss list.

To clarify, I am pasting my proposal below, that was sent to the OSGeo 
Board on 25 May, that is just now beginning discussion.  This year's CRO 
(person in charge of the voting process) is Vasile Craciunescu, who will 
soon have more updates I am sure.  We should all be very thankful to 
Vasile for volunteering his time for this (it is never an easy 
position).  Thanks Vasile!
