Sorry to revive this old thread but there's something new

The new element is a modern code repository service (like
gitlab/github) released under the MIT license and very active
(+20 contributors in the last 30 days, +140 contributors in the last
year). It has a single - open source - edition, supports LDAP
authentication, PostgreSQL backend and is packaged for debian/ubuntu
(in addition to others).

The only downside is that it is written in GO, but then it is also
used as a benchmarking element for it, which means it's well known
in that community.

May I present you, The Go Git Service:

How would you see an experimental install of it on OSGeo platform ?
NOTE: it's also _lightweight_ !
