[OSGeo-Discuss] Open Monitoring Systems Working Group

Dear community members,
its my plasure to announce that within the Open geoscience committee [1] a
new working group on Open monitoring system has been established.

Yann Chemin who intiated this topic some time ago, and myself which joined
to the effort are leading this initiative.

Intested people are invited to sign on the OpenGeoscience mailing list [2]
and the Working Group wiki page [3] to start the discussion. Already
initiated projects and actions will be soon linked to the page.

Specific session at conferences and sprint-code may be envisioned as part
of the WG action plan.
