Hi Jochen,

in gvSIG there's a Dyschromatopsia / colour blindness extension 
available. At this post you can find more information about it:

It's shown for gvSIG 2.1 but it's available at the last version (gvSIG 
2.4) too.

In addition, about icons and text size, from gvSIG 2.5 (that is in 
stabilization process and the first builds are now available to test) it 
can be done. In reference to icons, apart from changing the icons set 
it's possible to increase their size (changing the scale from the 
preferences). And about font size of the application, it can be changed 
too. It's available for gvSIG 2.5, but if needed for gvSIG 2.4 a little 
change can be done for it.
