[OSGeo-Discuss] Funding for GeoParquet implementations

Hi all,

I want to call a bit of attention to this: the OGC has some available funding 
for GeoArrow/GeoParquet implementations.

On the OSGeo side, GDAL/OGR offers an implementation of the format. However, 
this is a good opportunity (and/or a good excuse) to add support for this 
format in any tools you might be involved with. Doing some bug hunting in 
GDAL/OGR, or providing some interesting data for debugging and examples would 
also be appreciated.

If there's any questions, I'm sure Joana Simoes (jsimoes at ogc.org) will be 
happy to answer them.
