Information Commons for Science

Dear edu-ers,

I will be attending the "Information Commons for Science" conf. (see
<http://informationcommonsforscience.org/>) in Wash DC early Oct. The
agenda is to create "a Vision for Making Scientific Data Accessible
Across Disciplines."

I seek your input on this task from the perspective of geospatial data
and other intellectual property. I will take your ideas to the
conference as a representative of OSGeo. We will also discuss this at
length during our monthly fireside chat on Aug 11, but let your ideas
pour in this discussion list.
