[OSGeo-Edu] Geospatial Metadata ODT and Free GIS Book SampleChapter Layout

Jorge and Alex,

I did my Scribus layout manually. I think Alex knows more about some of
Scribus' advanced features than I do. I would like to learn more about
how I can automatically layout text from external files.

Landon

P.S. - If the Spanish Free GIS Book is already done in LaTex then I
should also use this format for my Chapter. Do I need to get information
about the page layout from the Spanish team? I'm thinking of things like
font and margin size...

Scribus can consume text files, pdfs and all sorts of other formats.
Theoretically you could build a scaffold scribus file and iterate
through inserting a set of pdfs or text files into the proper tag.

The beauty of scribus is hitting refresh when the source documents and
images have changed to see the new versions.
