Charlie,

Hi! I am new to this list but have a professional interest in Geospatial education. I would be very interested in participating in your teleconference.

I work for Education Services Australia <http://www.esa.edu.au> which is a government organisation that produces free digital resources for education. We are just about to commence a project that aims to produce a purpose built for education geospatial tool. We wish to base the tool on open source software. We will be producing supporting material to aid teachers.

I am hoping that the members of this list might be prepared to share their perspectives and perhaps even expertise and materials to help us bring the first stage of this project to a successful completion. It is our goal to make the results of our work freely available to all.

I look forward to the teleconference with great interest.

Many thanks for organising it.

Mark

Great Tyler-thanks. Let's see if others volunteer for the call and then we'll try and nail down a date/time. Anybody interested? I know this has some energetic people on the list so... come on folks!

Monika - I second Tyler's "excellent" comment! Great to hear from you and please add your material via the online submission form [1] or let me know if you'd like to try out the subversion repository so others could use and create new derivatives. We need a few people to show some leadership on this end to get a content derivative system operational (hint hint lurkers... ;-) )...

Cheers
Charlie
