Hi all,

Once again, sorry I'm not in Barcelona. I wish I was.

I hope others in the Edu group who are there can organize a BOF to
discuss/address our group's to-do list [1] and more specifically our
interest in developing Desktop and Web Exercise Handbooks that
demonstrate functionality for the different software projects. Related
to this second point, I've started a wiki page for the desktop exercise
handbook [2] and have added entries for exercises I have that I can
contribute. Can others do the same?

Dan (Ames): can you add to this with Map Window material you have?
How about others who use other desktop platforms (e.g., GRASS,
Also, *anyone else*, please add anything you can contribute or ideas you
have on other exercises.

Finally, I've created a wiki page to do the same for Web-GIS
technologies [3]. But I have not started any list of possible exercise
topics. If others have ideas or exercise content that can help start
this, please add them and your name!

Edu folks in Barcelona: Would anyone be willing to talk to software
teams to see if they'd be willing to contribute to this effort or at
least let them know about it?
I encourage people to meet in a BOF and discuss contributions to this
effort or anything on our todo list [1]!

Cheers
Charlie
