Hi Jachim,
Hi All,
Some input about our meeting with Annekaterien, working for the
Copernicus Support Office:
Till and I presented OSGeo and OSGeo Europe.
Annekatrien works as external consultant for the support office of the
Copernicus office.
OSGeo could play a strategic role in the relation with the European
Commission to foster open source software that is intensivly used by the
European Commission.
Annekatrien wil help to detect how we can present OSGeo to the
commission, and what could be a relationship that could be defined.
I mentionned that OSGeo has support in the USA from the department of
internal affairs [1]. This can be a good starting point to do something
similar with OSGeo Europe.
Next action item for me is to contact ESA for a similar meeting,
togaether with Markus who volunteered to accompany me.
