Thanks for your feedback!
You're right. The feature class name is correspond with a layer name in
the WMS service.
The return result of those 3 commands are all FDOStringCollection. I do
not think it is needed to discuss why we use FdoStringCollection as the
return type.
Thanks,
Maggie Yang

Maggie,
I skimmed RFC 6:
http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/wiki/FDORfc6
I'm a bit vague on apsects of the FDO command architecture so my
thoughts
are not very deep. One thing I noted as that the RFC did not seem to
discuss the return results of the commands at all. Do you think it
could
be helpful to add that to the RFC?
I haven't used the WMS provider before. I notice that some of your
proposed commands have a SetFeatureClassName() method while others do
not. Does the feature class name correspond with a layer name in the
WMS
service?
This isn't related to the RFC, but is there more detailed documentation
on
the WMS provider (for the user) than what is provided at:
http://fdo.osgeo.org/fdowms/index.html
I don't see anything objectionable in RFC 6 and am supportive of it.
I'm
just trying to understand better some of the details.
Best regards,
