Sounds like a great idea.

This reminds me... at the PSC meeting, I took an action item to contact
Bruno about the PostGIS provider.  Happily, he has reported that he has
addressed the outstanding bugs and is doing some testing on various
platforms before checking in to ensure that the fixes work.

I see the OGR provider is already handled there.  Perhaps we can add the
postgis provider when it is a little more ready for prime time.
