[fdo-internals] FDO Ubuntu 12 64bit Build

My sandbox branch (sandbox/linux64) builds successfully on Ubuntu 12.04
64-bit via automake.

Unit tests however, were failing. 

I logged the failures for tests I could run under
(http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/ticket/761). Didn't proceed much further due to
the higher priority item of getting MapGuide Open Source 2.5 out the door.
