 A note that with service pack 2 for arcgis desktop there is a new set of
 libraries for arcsde. you can see the files here..-

 NOTE: If you are using ArcSDE data sources, you must apply the ArcSDE 9.2
 SP 2 client install for your particular platform. Since the ArcGIS 9.2
 products share common DLLs, it is important to keep the software release
 versions in sync to avoid any software conflicts.
