[fdo-users] performance of fdo postgis provider

Hi list,

The FDO PostGIS provider seems very slow in rendering in Autocad Map 
when comparing it to viewing the same data in uDig. An earlier thread on 
this list 
(http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/fdo-users/2007-October/000420.html) 
mentioned some functions which improved performance for another FDO 
driver (NEN1878).
Should functions like SpatialExtents and Count for a 
FdoISelectAggregates command still be implemented for the PostGIS driver 
in order to improve performance?
