[fdo-users] Newbe question

Hi Ed,

I ran the build and got the same errors, but the build log suggested that everything else had gone through OK. Since I don't need that driver I just ignored the errors, carried on, and everything else went fine after that.

Thanks... I believe you are correct. There is another reference (Linux
build document for FDO) to downloading and installing an Easysoft ODBC
Oracle  driver building FDO. I will explore the build script.

Hi Ed,

The SL-King provider was added to the build after I wrote the
instructions, so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work properly on
Linux, especially if you need to add the client + development libraries
before compiling.

If you don't need Oracle, you can choose which providers to build as an
argument to the build shell script (I think).
