Surprises me that you get ora-12154 for that connection string.
I will switch tomorrow for first time to Vista 64.
I have issues to solve with latest King.Oracle too and I plan to put
some time in it. I think sometime in January would be most accurate
timing

Within AutoCAD at the "Connect to Data" window, the service is
"//localhost/xe", the OracleSchema is "XE", of course the user and pass
are
filled in.
