[fdo-users] Not able to install PostGIS provider on AutoCAD Map 3D 2010

I recommend that you update to map 2011 and use the PostgreSQL Provider, which allows access to PostGIS data stores. The PostGIS provider is no longer being maintained.

Refer to the following link for info on the PostgreSQL provider.

	http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/wiki/FdoPostgreSQLNotes

Also, make sure you have the proper postgres/postgis client binary packages installed and referenced in your system path.

Subject: [fdo-users] Not able to install PostGIS provider on AutoCAD Map 3D 2010

Hello,

I tried to add the PostGIS provider and it doesn't work.

I get that message:
Failed to load connection control for provider. Either the provider is not
installed or there was an error accessing it.

I'm using Map 3D 2010 and I tried to installed the FDO provider PostGIS 3.4.
I installed MS C++ Runtime SP1 2005.

I need some help,

Marie-Eve
