[fdo-users] Compilation on 64-bit linux

I spoke too soon: nothing is making or installing libSchemaMgr_OV.so, 
and it looks like it's not trying (rather than trying and failing). I 
can't say that I understand automake/autoconf at all, but I'm guessing 
that something is going wrong at configuration time such that this is 
never a target.

I've only just started paying attention to the cmake instructions. I 
noticed that the recommendations they make regarding third party 
libraries are in line with Traian's comments. Can I infer that using 
cmake is now the preferred way to build FDO (on 64-bit Linux, at least)?
