Hello to everybody,
What an active list!
My name is Miguel Montesinos, and work at Prodevelop (Spain). I'm part of gvSIG [1] team, and as some of my collegues (Jorge and Juan Lucas) have told before, we are working on several open-source mobile projects.
Apart from woking-time, I'm a fan of Open Street Maps and I'm also developing a gvSIG extension for loading EXIF photographs with GPS metadata.
I can hear a lot of great actions and initiatives. Here is one more proposal:
Is anyone in this list making it to the next FOSS4G at SouthAfrica. If so, we could talk about this stuff ¿maybe a BOF?
At FOSS4G, Javi Carrasco (a collegue at Prodevelop) is going to present [2] the new pilot of gvSIG Mobile, with new capabilities such as digitizing (manual or GPS-based), custom forms or GML and GPX support.
