[FOSS4G-Oceania] presentation deadline coming up

Hi all,

Our presentation submission deadline is coming up. Currently it's scheduled
for 31 Aug, but recall we agreed to provide an extension to 4 Sep, which I
think we should advertise soon (I had Monday in mind, so that we don't
discourage people from working on it this weekend).

But I want to point out that we currently have 11 full length submissions,
and 7 lightning talk submissions - and they are ALL from men. It's high
time to tap your networks, and encourage people to submit. I'd say that we
should particularly encourage women and people from diverse ethnic
communities to be submitting.

I've been sending brief personalised notes to all the people I can think of
who might be interested, or who might be able to forward to their own
networks.

Let's get the word out!
