Hi All,

I have put together some slides as a template for the Local Venue Welcome.

These are for my welcome and wrap up at the end:

Feel free to make a copy and edit as you see fit.

Things I think should mention in your Local Welcome:

Who you are (local venue chair) + other volunteers
Schedule for the day
Logistics - toilets, fire alarms, catering, etc.
Code of Conduct slide
Thank your sponsors - show their logos - give them an opportunity to say 
hello (1 min) if they want.

I have also created some "Holding slides" to show at the start, in 
breaks etc.

You can run these to scroll through automatically:

Open a presentation in Google Slides.
In the top-right corner, click Slideshow .
At the bottom, click Options. Auto-advance options.
Choose how quickly to advance your slides.

Of course you can add to these as well.
