Nope. We need to think deeply about the cost-benefit. Peer pressure  
isn't going to be enough. How about a monetary prize? Cold, hard cash  
is a great motivator. Get a sponsor, organize around their business  
issues, and give away $10,000. That's a small price to pay for 3 or 4  
prototype solutions. This is sort of like the design competitions that  
architects love to use.
