We can't leave it too long.  There will be some who will be booking
flights sooner rather than later.  There were a few this year who got
caught out not being able to attend the sprint because they'd booked
flights before the date was finalised.  It would be good not to repeat
this mistake.

Yes, that would help a lot but we would still need to be on top of what
is happening, particularly if we end up having an out of town experience
(get the feeling I'm gunning for this one?!).

Sounds interesting (and I mean that in a very positive way!) but the
more we can tie it down early the less there is to worry about at the
time.  The sooner we can get some commitment from punters for the Code
Sprint, the better, though I fear many will make a last minute decision
as usual.
