Hi,

I am a big friend of live-streaming :) We had it on FOSSGIS every year
and I enjoyed to watch a bit during PDX2014 where I could not go to.

In my optinion it will not stop peolple to go to FOSS4G. FOSS4G is
atmosphere and fun and meeting friend. It is not the same as live stream
and watching videos. Maybe people who can't come (because of some
reason) can feel a bit like being at the conference and joining the
community.

If I understood Peter Körner right it is part of the work to publish
live-stream.

But we can discuss it on monday.
