Hey Julien,
there is already a CanvasTool class that provides client side vector
capability on which you could create drawing and editing tools. I use
the CanvasTool class as a mix-in to SelectPolygon (for instance).
I would love to get this updated (or replaced) to use Layer.Vector and
provide widgets for the vector editing stuff but I don't know if I
will have time - if you are willing to work on it, I would work with
you on it.
