 Fixed by submission http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/changeset/2141

 OpenLayers does not seem to recognize EPSG:3857 and EPSG:900913 as being
 the same coordinate system. So when the MapGuide map declares itself as
 3857 and the base commercial layer as 900913, the redline geometries don't
 show up in the right place.

 This submission maps from 3857 to 900913 when the MG map settings are
 loaded, allowing everything to work smoothly in OpenLayers.
