Ben,

There is an enhancement request in bugzilla requesting E00 support (vector)
based on enabling the existing E00 side of the AVC library used for Arc/Info
binary coverages.

While the task isn't huge, it would likely take a full days work, and I have
no schedule to do it.

Implementing raster support would be another modest chunk of work. I haven't
generally seen much use of e00 files to transport rasters, though I know it
does happen.
