You talk about gdal_id.lib, gdal_11d.dll.
Bo such files are created with my makefile. How did you generate them?
Could you send your nmake.opt file? (mathieu_gdal at yahoo.fr)
I guess you have made changes in this file, at least to OPTFLAGS

You also need to make sure that you have the matching *.pdb file
accessible preferably in the same directory as the .dll.
