I will use without Gif, and let gd serve Gif for MapServer...

Well...is GDAL the one whose compiles OGR???

How can I do it???is it just compile and install GDAL???

Gabriel,

If you are not using other WMS servers as input to your MapServer you should
not have any problems using a GDAL built without gif support.
