[Gdal-dev] Mrs ID driver for VC7

I have a thirty day trial of the Mrs. Id driver for windows VC++ Version
7.  How do I link it to the GDAL lib?  Are there instructions somewhere
on how to do this?  I also read on the user group that there may be
issues with the V7 driver from Lizardtech and GDAL because GDAL was
written to bind to the VC6 version of the mrsid lib.  Is this an issue?
I am using GDAL 1.1.9.
