[Gdal-dev] Nodata values in arc/info ascii grids

Hi

When I load an arc ingo ascii grid using gdal, I find that even though gdal 
reports the correct value for nodata in the file's metadata. When actually 
reading in a null matrix value, I seem to be getting a zero instead of the 
expected no_data value. Has anyone experienced this?
